Green Acres Ranch is located near the Joshua Tree National Park,
in Joshua Tree, California. We're less than 10 minutes
from the Joshua Tree Airport and just a few
minutes away from the Highway 62.
Joshua Tree is approximately 2 1/2 hours
from Los Angeles and San Diego.
From Los Angeles, San Bernardino and the Valleys
Head East on the 10 Freeway towards Palm Springs. From the 10 Fwy, take Route 62, "The Twentynine Palms Highway", marked for Yucca Valley and 29 Palms. By the way, Route 62 is easy to miss, so keep an eye out for it—It's about 5 minutes past the 111 exit. Travel about 30 miles on Route 62 to the city of Joshua Tree.
From Riverside, Orange County, all points South
Take the 60 Freeway East to the 10 Fwy East. Follow the directions from the Los Angeles area for the remainder of the trip.
From San Diego
Take I-15 North to Hwy 215 to Route 60 East. Route 60 will merge with 10 Freeway East. Follow the directions from the Los Angeles area for the remainder of the trip.
From Indio, Arizona, and the Colorado River Cities
Head West on the 10 Freeway towards Palm Springs. Take the Twentynine Palms Highway/Highway 62 exit and head North 30 minutes to the City of Joshua Tree.
From Victor Valley, Barstow And all Points North
Head East on Highway 247 (Old Woman Springs Road) towards Yucca Valley. Make a left at Twentynine Palms Highway/Highway 62 and head East 5 minutes to the City of Joshua Tree.
From Las Vegas, Needles And All points Northeast
Take Highway 95 south. Make a right onto the 62 Highway. Head west to Joshua Tree.
Alternate (faster but complicated): Take Highway 95 south to the 40 Freeway. Head west and exit on Kelbaker Road. Make a left at Kelbaker (heading south) to Old Highway 66 ("National Trails Highway"). Turn right and head west to the City of Amboy. Make a left at Amboy Road. Go south for 1 hour to the City of 29 Palms California. Make a left at Adobe Road. Turn right at Highway 62 ("Twentynine Palms Highway"). Drive west for about 15 minutes to Joshua Tree.
From Palm Springs
Two options. If you take Hwy 111 back to I-10, then go East towards Indio until you come to Route 62. If you take Indian Ave to I-10, then you will go West until you come to Route 62. Enter Route 62, Follow the above directions (from the Los Angeles area) for the remainder of the trip.
